Town Earns GFOA Triple Crown for Financial Reporting
We are pleased to announce that the Town’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) have been successfully completed and are now available.
The preparation of these reports represents a significant achievement, made possible through the collective efforts and support of departments across the organization. We extend our sincere appreciation to all who contributed their time, expertise, and collaboration to this important endeavor.
In addition, we are honored to share that the Town has been recognized with the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) prestigious Triple Crown for Excellence in Financial Reporting for fiscal year 2024. This distinction is awarded to governments that have received all three of the following GFOA honors:
- Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting
- Popular Annual Financial Reporting Award
- Distinguished Budget Presentation Award
Only 39 government organizations (including municipalities, counties, utility districts and school districts) in the State of Florida have earned this recognition, placing the Town among a select group demonstrating a sustained commitment to the highest standards of financial transparency and communication.

Services
The Finance Department is dedicated to providing the highest quality service through a commitment to excellence, integrity and teamwork. We serve the finance and purchasing needs of the town council, citizens, town manager, town employees and general public.
Practices
We provide publications and information to inform citizens and other interested parties regarding the financial position and operations of the town. We use generally accepted accounting principles and GFOA budgeting standards to assure that policy makers and the community are well informed and the town remains fiscally strong. It is important to us to perform our duties efficiently, effectively, reliably and accurately. We take pride in serving our elected officials, our fellow employees and our community.
