The homeowner is responsible for the sewer lateral that serves their home from the house, up to and including the connection on the sewer main in the street.

If you are only having a back-up in one fixture or one part of the home than it is likely an internal issue with just that fixture and you should contact your plumbing contractor.

The obstruction could be on the main line that the Town maintains. You should contact the Water Resources Division at (561) 838-5440 After Hours (561) 838-5454. If it is determined by our crews that the obstruction is in the house lateral we will advise you to contact your contractor.

Variations in the topography of the roads sometimes cause ponding that will evaporate in a short time. If you have ponding water 24-hours after a rain event, contact the Water Resources Division at (561) 838-5440.
