In observance of Labor Day, all Town offices will be closed on Monday, September 3rd. Certain Town recreational facilities will be open and the public beaches will have lifeguards on duty from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.:
Construction, Landscape Installation
and /or Landscape Maintenance: Not Allowed
Recreation Facilities:
Par 3 Golf Course: Open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Phipps Ocean Park Tennis: Open from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Seaview Tennis: Open from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Town Docks: Open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Recreation Center: Closed
Garbage and Recycling Schedule:
Residential Garbage Service - There will be residential garbage pickup service for residences on Kawama Lane/Chateaux Drive north to East Inlet Drive only. No other residential areas of the island will be serviced for garbage on Monday, September 3, 2018.
Commercial Garbage Service (7-day service) - Service as usual.
Yard Trash Collection - No Service on Monday, September 3, 2018. Stash areas will be serviced during residential collection starting Friday, August 31, 2018 through Friday, September 7, 2018.
All Garbage Recycling services will resume normal schedules on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
