[ARCHIVED] Town Offices Closed on July 4th: Golf Course, Tennis Courts and Town Docks to Remain Open

4th of July

In observance of Independence Day, all Town offices will be closed on July 4th and construction work and landscaping will not be allowed.  The public beaches will have lifeguards on duty from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and certain Town recreational facilities will be open.

Par 3 Golf Course:                                    Open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Phipps Ocean Park Tennis:                    Open from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Seaview Tennis:                                         Open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Town Docks:                                               Open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Recreation Center:                                   Closed

•Residential garbage will not be collected on July 4th.  Commercial garbage (seven-day service) will be collected as usual.

•Residential recycling will be collected for residences on Sanford Ave/Via Los Incas south to Seabreeze Avenue only.

•There will be no residential yard trash collection on July 4th.  Wednesday’s route will be serviced on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. All vegetation must be placed out for collection prior to 3:00pm on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Stash areas will be serviced during residential collection starting Friday, June 29, 2018 through Friday, July 6, 2018.

•All services will resume to normal schedules on Thursday, July 5th.

•Reminder: Landscaping services are not permitted on this Town holiday.
