The Town of Palm Beach announces a board member opening on the Town’s Landmarks Preservation Commission effective June 2018.
This commission reviews and approves structural and landscape modifications to Designated structures and properties. Members must be registered voters of the Town and are appointed by Town Council based on having, to the highest extent practicable, a special knowledge of and a known interest in landmarks preservation.
All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Landmarks Preservation Commission must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office in hard copy or via electronic transmission to townclerk@townofpalmbeach.com by Friday, August 3, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The appointments to the Landmarks Preservation Commission will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.
