The Palm Beach Recreation Center’s Camp Palm Beach is gearing up for a summer of fun and adventure for kids ages 5 (or entering Kindergarten in 2018) through 15.
Camp Palm Beach provides a variety of safe, age-appropriate and engaging indoor/outdoor games and activities, special events, field trips and more from June 4-August 10. Camp runs from 9:00am-3:30pm in 10 weekly sessions with options for Early Drop-Off from 8:00am-9:00am and Extended Camp from 3:30pm-6:00pm for additional fees.
Activities include mad science, cellphone scavenger hunts, nerf wars, water wars, food science fun, the amazing race and field trips to places like Fun Depot, Lighthouse Cove Mini Golf, Sandoway Discovery Center, Monkey Joe’s, Calypso Bay Water Park, Rapids Water Park, Science Museums, the Zoo, canoe/kayaking at Okeeheelee Park, catamaran snorkeling and Orlando Theme Parks (Club Teen only). We have also enhanced our Extended Camp program to include two, ½ hour group tennis lessons each week.
Campers and parents are invited to meet the counselors and staff of Camp Palm Beach at our Meet & Greet, Saturday, June 2, from 10:00-11:00am at the Recreation Center (340 Seaview Avenue). There will be games, activities and light refreshments. We encourage all new campers to attend.
Registration, which can be done over the phone, in person or online, has begun for residents (proof of residency required) and will begin Monday, April 16 for nonresidents.
