The Town of Palm Beach announces board member openings on the Town’s Investment Advisory Committee effective May 2018.
The Investment Advisory Committee acts in an advisory capacity and shall make recommendations to the Town Council in matters relating to the town’s investment policy and the investment of the Town’s surplus funds. The Committee is comprised of five members, who shall be residents of the town. Members are appointed based upon their prior fixed income investment experience. The Town of Palm Beach will not do business directly or indirectly with a committee member and for at least two years after the member’s term has expired.
All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Investment Advisory Committee must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office in hardcopy or via electronic transmission to townclerk@townofpalmbeach.com by Friday, April 27, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The appointments to the Investment Advisory Committee will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.
