Town Council to Appoint Alternate Member to the Code Enforcement Board

The Town of Palm Beach is seeking to appoint one (1) alternate member to the Code Enforcement Board. This vacancy is being filled due to the resignation of Pamela Davies. The alternate member will complete the term which will expire on May 1, 2025.

The Code Enforcement Board hears cases involving violations of the Town Code and ordinances, and imposes administrative fines and other noncriminal penalties where a pending or repeated violation exists. Members must be registered voters of the Town and are appointed by Town Council based on experience or interest in the fields of zoning and building control.

All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Code Enforcement Board must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the application to the Town Clerk’s Office by Friday, December 29, 2023, at 5:00 pm. The appointments to the Code Enforcement Board will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
