The Palm Beach Police Department in partnership with Palm Beach Crime Watch would like to invite interested teens to take part in the 2022 Teen Police Academy.  The Teen Police Academy program is a one week program and is offered to teens from 12-16 years of age.  Participation is required for all five days, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Applicants should live or attend school in the Town of Palm Beach.  

The program is modeled after the Citizen Police Academy and is designed to give young people an overview of the training undertaken by police officers as well as other aspects of the criminal justice system.  The program includes exciting hands-on training, field trips, including a tour of the Palm Beach County Jail, and a graduation ceremony.  All lunches, snacks and drinks are provided

The Teen Police Academy program fee is $250.00 payable to Palm Beach Crime Watch. Space is limited. Students must be available to attend for the full week and permission must be given for participation in all scheduled activities.  Applications must be received by May 25th to participate.
