[ARCHIVED] Demonstration Streetlights for Review

From now until March 7, 2022, the Town Council is requesting residents review and provide comments on the three (3) demonstration streetlights that have been installed in the grass median located on Hibiscus Avenue, just south of Peruvian Avenue.  

The existing streetlights are non-decorative and located on the FP&L poles will be removed when the Town-wide Undergrounding Project is completed in the Mid-Town area. These lights will be replaced with one of the decorative poles offered by FP&L in the same location as they presently exist. Two (2) of the three (3) demonstration streetlights have the same illumination; The third streetlight, the one that looks like a witch’s hat, has an amber light and a lower illumination.
