The Navy SEALs will be dropping in at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center on Saturday, March 5, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., courtesy of the Palm Beach Navy SEAL Evening of Tribute and the Navy SEAL Museum. Family friendly activities will include a Navy SEAL helicopter landing with live-action demonstration and a Q&A segment.
The Navy SEAL demonstration will provide a sneak peak of what is to come at the Fifth Biennial Palm Beach Navy Seal Evening of Tribute on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at The Breakers hotel to honor and raise funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation and Museum.
Following the SEAL demonstration, the Palm Beach Recreation Department invites guests to celebrate its Grand Opening 2.0 in and around the Mandel with an afternoon of activities, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. throughout Seaview Park. The Grand Opening 2.0 highlights the growth of programs and offerings since the opening of the Mandel doors in December of 2019. Guests are invited to participate in activities which will include live entertainment, interactive games, a rock-climbing wall and bungee jump, fitness challenges to include push-up and plank challenges, a scavenger hunt, three-point and free-throw contests, pickle ball lessons, food and refreshments, plus prizes for the whole family to enjoy.
Event registration for residents begins (proof of residency required) February 8th and nonresident registration begins February 15th, pending space availability. Registration is required. To register, email email@example.com with full name, address and name of each family member planning to attend. Reservation confirmations will be sent via email.
