In conjunction with the Town’s Marina Project, starting Monday, April 12, 2021 through early September, the Town’s contractor Burkhardt Construction will be installing a new watermain along S. Lake Drive. The contractor will be working from Royal Palm Way south to Peruvian Avenue.  During the initial phase, S. Lake Drive will be closed from Royal Palm Way to Brazilian Avenue for approximately two (2) weeks. Northbound traffic on S. Lake Drive will be detoured east on Brazilian Avenue to Cocoanut Row.  Southbound traffic from Royal Palm Way will be detoured east to Cocoanut Row, then south to Brazilian Avenue, then west to S. Lake Dr.  Southbound traffic along S. Lake Drive will be restored following the completion of the initial phase in approximately two (2) weeks.  The sidewalk on the eastside of S. Lake Drive will be closed to pedestrians for the duration of the project.

Please follow the construction signage and flaggers, and drive with caution when travelling through this area.
