[ARCHIVED] Town Council to Appoint Member to the Architectural Commission (ARCOM)

The Town of Palm Beach is seeking to appoint one alternate member to the Architectural Commission (ARCOM). This term will expire on March 1, 2022, and is fulfilling the unexpired term of Ted Cooney, which is less than 50% of a term. 

ARCOM reviews and approves modifications to any existing structures visible from public rights-of-way, new construction, and landscaping. Members are appointed on the basis of experience in art, architecture, community planning, land development, real estate, landscape architecture, or other relevant business, profession, or civic interest. Members of the architectural commission shall be appointed for terms of three years from and may serve no more than two consecutive terms.  

All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the ARCOM must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office in hard copy or via electronic transmission to townclerk@townofpalmbeach.com  by Friday, April 30, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.  The appointments to the Architectural Commission will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
