[ARCHIVED] Annual Tree Lightings and Chanukah Celebrations

Logo of the Town of Palm Beach-Homepage

The Town of Palm Beach looks forward to the many traditional annual events held in Palm Beach during the holidays. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, this holiday season will be a little different, but adjustments have been made to ensure residents and visitors will still be able to enjoy the wonderful lights and decorations throughout the town, while staying safe.

Worth Avenue Tree Lighting: In lieu of the annual gathering on Worth Avenue, the Worth Avenue Association (WAA) has chosen to do a virtual tree lighting this year. The WAA would like to invite everyone to watch from the safety of their own home this year. Please join by logging on to the Worth Avenue, Palm Beach Facebook page, @WorthAvenue to tune in at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1. There are no on-site activities planned.

Memorial Park Tree Lighting: There are no activities associated with the Memorial Park Tree Lighting event this year.  The holiday tree has been installed in its normal location and will be illuminated on Tuesday, December 1.  There are no on-site activities planned.

Bradley Park Tree Lighting: There are no activities associated with the Bradley Park Tree Lighting event this year.  The holiday tree has been installed in its normal location and will be illuminated on Monday, November 30.  There are no on-site activities planned.

Chanukah Celebrations: The Palm Beach Synagogue’s menorah lightings will be held at 6:15 p.m. each evening during Chanukah, which begins on the evening of December 10, (except on Friday December 11 when the lighting will take place at 5:00 p.m.) and ends on the evening of December 18. To limit public gatherings during the pandemic, this year’s menorah lightings will be held at the Royal Poinciana Plaza instead of in Bradley Park. There will be a virtual “Light Up The 8 Nights of Chanukah Together!” event via Zoom each night of Chanukah. If you would like to participate in this virtual event, please contact the Synagogue Office for the Zoom meeting ID and password via email at office@palmbeachsynagogue.org or call (561) 838-9002 ext. 4.

If you have any questions, please call the Town Manager’s Office at 561-838-5410.
