The Palm Beach Recreation Department is gearing up for its fall session offering a variety of preschool, youth and adult enrichment programs, preschool and youth sports, and youth and adult fitness classes starting September 14, for youth programs, and October 5, for adult programs. In response to COVID-19, class sizes are limited, pre-registration is required, and all programs will be run in compliance with Town, County, and State orders.
Preschoolers can get creative through art and music with Toddler Social (parent/child), Preschool Readiness, Tracie’s Music Together (parent/child), and Music with Tracie; or learn the fundamentals of sports through Story Time Soccer or Little Hoopsters Basketball, both fun and interactive programs.
Youth enrichment programs include Systema Karate, Communications Prep, On the Go Painting, Mix It Up Art, Fine Arts Prep, and Sean’s Dance Factory Hip Hop.
Select Soccer Academy and Perseverance Basketball bring their vast experience and unique instructional style to youth sports where participants can learn the game in a fun, non-threatening environment, and hone their skills with Fall Soccer, the Basketball Skills Academy, and the newly added Youth Basketball League.
Another great opportunity for ages nine through fifteen is to join KidFit and Youth Intro to Strength Training classes, which make fitness fun and inspires kids to lead a healthy lifestyle. These classes are taught by a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with HealthFitness.
Adult programs include Italian and French for the beginner through advanced, and Digital Photography. There are also an array of adult fitness classes taught by Sandee Sineni and HealthFitness staff. Classes include Body Conditioning, Stretch and Relaxation, Sit N Be Fit, Power Circuit, Strength Circuit, Cardio Circuit, Pure Toning, Abs Blast, Mat Pilates Fusion and Yoga.
