Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) contract crews will make critical repairs to equipment beginning Tuesday, June 30 affecting travel on Park Avenue in Palm Beach. The work is part of the company’s efforts to ensure continued service reliability.
Park Avenue will be closed on July 1st from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. between North County Road and Bradley Place. During the work, flaggers and Palm Beach Police will redirect traffic. Park Avenue will be open to normal traffic flow on June 30th and July 2nd with trucks parked on the side of the road. All motorists are urged to use caution when traveling near the area and should be alert for workers.
FPL anticipates a one-hour power interruption on June 30th at approximately 9:00 a.m. and a second, two-hour interruption is anticipated on July 2nd. FPL does not anticipate any power interruptions associated with this project on July 1st. All customers who will be impacted are being notified. FPL apologizes for any inconvenience.
