[ARCHIVED] Town Council to Appoint a Member to the Retirement Board of Trustees

The Town of Palm Beach is seeking to appoint one (1) member to the Retirement Board of Trustees effective June 2020. Currently, there is one open trustee seat with a term which will expire on March 31, 2023.

The Retirement Board of Trustees acts in a fiduciary capacity for the Town’s retirement funds and in an advisory capacity to the Town Council on matters relating to the administration of the Town’s various retirement plans. The Retirement Board of Trustees will meet at least quarterly.


All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Retirement Board of Trustees must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office in hard copy or via electronic transmission to townclerk@townofpalmbeach.com  by Friday, August 28, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.  The appointments to the Retirement Board of Trustees will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

The board/commission applications can be downloaded from the Town’s website (www.townofpalmbeach.com).  Please note that the Town’s website reflects specific applications for each board or commission.  Applications may also be obtained by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office at (561) 838-5416.
