The Town of Palm Beach Recreation Department has reopened many areas with careful consideration in following Phase 1 Guidelines and continues to work closely with the Town Manager’s office in response to COVID-19.
The Mandel Recreation Center is open for a limited number of programs with plans to add more opportunities as new guidelines permit. Please note, space is limited so pre-registration is required for all programs. Stretch and Relaxation classes are being held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. Participants are required to bring their own mats. Hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes will be available. Perseverance Basketball is offering a seven week Small Group Training program on Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for K-5th grade; 5:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. for 6th grade and up and Saturdays 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. for K-5th grade; 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. for 6th grade and up. This program begins Wednesday, June 24. The café is now open with a variety of snacks and beverages including coffee, sports and energy drinks. The payment kiosk allows patrons to create a user account and add money to your wallet for easy check out.
The Smith Family Fieldhouse is currently open for half-court basketball and pickleball hourly reservations. For details or to make a reservation, please call the main office at 561-838-5485. Payment is due at the time the reservation is made. You will need your own equipment for basketball and pickleball.
The Fitness Center is open to residents by appointment only and is now booking personal training sessions. Please call the Fitness Center at 561-227-6363 for details or to make an appointment.
Seaview Park and Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Centers offer singles and doubles play as well as private lessons. Call the Reservation Line: Seaview Park Tennis Center 561-227-7081 or Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center: 561-227-7082 to book courts. The reservation line is active from 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. For lessons or to book same day court reservations, call the main line for Seaview Park is 561-838-5404 and Phipps Ocean Park is 561-227-6450.
