[ARCHIVED] Reminder for callers to give accurate information to communications personnel for COVID-19 Screening

Patch Transparent

The Palm Beach Police Department urges everyone to answer the screening questions truthfully and to not withhold any information that could help determine possible infection with COVID-19. These questions are designed to protect all first responders, emergency room staff and the general public. If it is determined that a patient is possibly infected, police and fire rescue personnel can take the appropriate precautions to protect themselves and emergency department personnel. We want to ensure the public that all patients with suspected COVID-19 infection will be treated and/or transported to the hospital for appropriate care.

The Florida Department of Health has established a dedicated coronavirus call center at 1-866-779-6121 that is available 24 hours a day seven days a week, as well as a dedicated email address at COVID-19@flhealth.gov which the public can use for questions or clarifications on issues related to the coronavirus.

If you feel you are experiencing signs and symptoms of COVID-19, contact the Palm Beach County Department of Health at 561-840-4500.

Information on Coronavirus, COVID-19 is available on the Town’s website at https://townofpalmbeach.com.
