The repair work to the Gulfstream Road beach access stairway repairs will commence on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, with an intermittent single lane closure on South Ocean Boulevard between Gulfstream Road and Hammon Avenue. The work will be performed during the allowable construction work hours, with an intermittent single lane closure being required for deliveries and installation of the piles. Anticipated opening of the access stairway will be less than two (2) weeks from commencement. Public Works intends to actively track the repair progress so it will be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible, while ensuring that the traffic impacts are kept to a minimum. Solid waste/yard trash collection routes will not be affected.
