[ARCHIVED] Town Council to Appoint Member(s) to the Code Enforcement Board

The Town of Palm Beach is seeking to appoint three (3) members to the Code Enforcement Board effective February 2020. Currently, there are two (2) regular members whose terms will expire on April 1, 2020 and one is eligible to re-apply for one more term. There is also one vacant alternate member position available.

The Code Enforcement Board hears cases involving violations of the Town Code and Ordinances, and imposes administrative fines and other noncriminal penalties where a pending or repeated violation exists. Members must be registered voters of the Town and are appointed by Town Council on the basis of experience or interest in the fields of zoning and building control.  

All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Code Enforcement Board must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office in hard copy or via electronic transmission to townclerk@townofpalmbeach.com by Friday, April 3, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. The appointments to the Code Enforcement Board will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
