[ARCHIVED] Town of Palm Beach Historic District Educational Symposium & Community Feedback Session

Historic District Educational Symposium Public Notice - FINAL

The Town of Palm Beach, in conjunction with the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach, will be hosting a Historic District Educational Symposium during the first week of December 2019. All Town residents and interested persons are encouraged to attend. State and national experts in historic preservation will be in attendance to discuss historic districts in general, present best practices on historic districts, potential code reform and other incentives to promote preservation, and how historic districts may or may not be used as a tool for preservation within the Town.

A Community Feedback Session will be conducted the day after the Symposium to allow for property owners and other interested parties to comment and provide feedback, and have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists who will be present at this session. The dates, times and locations of the Historic District Educational Symposium and Community Feedback Session are as follows:

  • Historic District Educational Symposium on Wednesday, December 4, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Flagler Museum located at One Whitehall Way, Palm Beach, FL 33480
  • Community Feedback Session regarding the Historic Educational Symposium on Thursday, December 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Town Council Chambers in Town Hall, located at 360 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480.
