On October 10, 2019, Resolution 122-2019 was adopted by Town Council to strongly encourage the State Legislature to approve Senate Bill 182 and any companion House Bills relating to the preemption of single-use plastic bags.
Mayor Gail L. Coniglio is asking for your help. Voice your support for Senate Bill 182 and any companion House Bills. Return legislative authority to local municipal governments by eliminating preemptive language to allow local governments to enact appropriate legislation in this regard.
