Memorial Day - Town Hall Closed
Monday, May 29, 2023
In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 29, 2023, all Town offices and the Mandel Recreation and Fitness Center will be closed.
Construction work or landscaping will not be allowed on Monday, May 29, 2023.
The following Town facilities will be staffed and open:
- Public Town beaches: Lifeguards on duty from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- Par 3 Golf Course: Open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
- Phipps Ocean Park Tennis: Open from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
- Seaview Tennis: Open from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Garbage and Collection Services:
- Residential Garbage Service: Only residential garbage pickup service for residences will occur on Kawama Lane/Chateaux Drive north to E. Inlet Drive on Monday, May 29, 2023; No other residential areas on the island will be serviced for garbage on Monday, May 29, 2023.
- Yard Trash Collection: No Service will occur on Monday, May 29, 2023. Stash areas will be serviced during residential collection starting Tuesday, May 30, 2023 through Friday, June 2, 2023.
- Commercial Garbage Service (7-day Service): Service usual.
- Commercial Recycling: Service as usual.
