Ocean Outfall Abandonment Project Begins Monday, June 12, 2017

The Town of Palm Beach has awarded a contract to Johnson-Davis, Inc. for the Ocean Outfalls Abandonment Project.

This project is to redirect storm water discharges to the beach.  Each outfall identified represents a location where runoff is discharged to the beach through either a stormwater pipe or an open overland connection in a manner that promotes sand erosion. This construction project will provide a modification to the existing infrastructure to redirect the discharges away from the beach and replace the existing drainage through the installation of new exfiltration trenches. Work will begin on Monday, June 12, 2017, and completed no later than Friday, September 1, 2017.  The table below includes the tentative location and schedule for each phase of work.
